Today, as the Afghan people are going through a democratization and reconstruction phase, and enjoy freedom of speech again in their country, providing them with the means to share their own outlook on Afghanistan is critical.As a result, the Aïna Photo Department has been training professional photojournalists since September 2002, and has given them the opportunity to disseminate their work by ensuring the implementation of high photography standards and, most of all, by setting up the first Afghan photojournalism agency: Aina Photo.
